Cardiff's standout venue, with six indoor courts and the fullest weekly programme in the city: lunchtime drop-ins on Tuesdays and Fridays (12–1pm), an adult drop-in on Tuesday evenings (5–6pm) and Cardiff Pickleball Club's session on Thursdays (6–7pm). Paddles and balls can be borrowed from reception, so you can turn up with nothing but trainers.
Four indoor wooden courts with permanent lines and portable nets make Fairwater west Cardiff's best-equipped pickleball hall. The centre is wheelchair accessible with changing facilities on site, and courts book through the standard Better system.
East Cardiff's pickleball option, with sessions running in the recently refurbished centre's sports hall. Quieter than Llanishen's programme, which makes it a decent shout if you'd rather ease in without a crowd.
West Cardiff's leisure centre is on Better's pickleball list, giving Caerau and Ely players an option closer than Llanishen or Fairwater. Check the app's activities list for current court times.
A Cardiff leisure centre in Pentwyn with pickleball courts bookable through Better, joining the city's four other Better centres offering the game.
